Screen Print Present

I screen printed these presents and then cut them out, placed them onto a square piece of paper to make some gift tags :)

I made lots of different Christmas cards, these are the ones I feel turned out the best. For the present I first cut out two different stencils, the box and the ribbon. I first printed the red box and once this was dry I printed the gold ribbon. I cut the present out and mounted them onto different Christmas patterns, some I tore the edges and others I left clean.

candy cane screen print

I made this little stencil to make some gift tags for Christmas presents, each print was pretty messy and then I managed to break the stencil, even though it was acetate :| I'll probably make some more detailed better ones tomorrow, even though I've got loads of college work!

my cobweb felt embellishment
Using my dry point print I made a practice flip book. I scanned a black print in and printed it out 30 times, using water colours I painted on top of them and used the colours to create the flip book.

Lino prints

This is my lino print of dandelion seeds.

Here I've printed it in a lime green and placed tracing paper on top, using mono paper I drew some dandelions on it.

This is another lino print I did, again in lime green- it's a simple dandelion.
For this sample I placed tracing paper on top and drew some little seeds in black fine liner on top.

For this outcome I again placed tracing paper on top and drew round the lino print dandelion and added some more seeds.

[I place tracing paper on top of the lino prints as the ink I print with doesn't give you a nice or clear enough outcome when drawn on :)]

Brusho

just turquoise, purple and red Brusho on paper, sprayed with a water gun

[Previous Brusho] scanned and blown up to A3, then I placed tracing paper on top and used a black fine liner to draw some dandelion seed heads.

Brown, green and turquoise Brusho, again I placed tracing paper on top and using carbon paper drew a dandelion on top.
